The Problem With a Waitlist

Image found at

Is when you call a client who has been on it for months, possibly a year or more and they have NO idea who you are or why you are calling them.  We do check in calls with people while they are waiting, but there is still so much confusion.

Amongst other issues.

  1. I think most people think of a "wait-list" as a permanent thing. It feels like someone's nice way of saying you've been rejected, but maybe they'll reconsider at some point (but probably not).

    1. Indeed. Although we do check in with people who on the waitlist (phone call every couple months) to keep up to date.
